What foreign languages can you learn at your school?

In our school we can choose only one language to learn. I chose English but some other students are learning German or Spanish.

How many English lessons a week do you have?

I have 3 English lessons a week. Every Monday, Tuesday and Friday I have to be ready for them.

For what reasons do people learn foreign languages nowadays?

Nowadays we can travel a lot and it’s easier to visit a country if you know the language. Also, we can get a better job if we can speak different foreign languages.

What is the most effective way to learn a foreign language in your opinion?

The most effective way of learning a language is to spend 6 months in the county alone. (As you have nobody to talk to in your mother tongue) in this case you have to start to communicate with local people and learn their language.

Do you think English will be useful for you in the future? In what way?

I think it will be useful for my future career (and I’ll get a better position thanks to English). Also I’m going to travel a lot and English is the language which all people use (to be able) to communicate abroad.

What language would you recommend your English-speaking friend learn? Why?

I would recommend to him/her to choose Chinese or another Asian language. These languages are very popular now in the business sphere.
